QUESTION: How many times is a Christian required to witness to an individual?
Matthew 10-14-15 And whosoever shall not receive you,
NOR HEAR YOUR WORDS,
when ye depart out of that house or city,
shake off the dust from your feet.
Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
Acts 13:44-52 And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God. But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul,
contradicting and blaspheming.
Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you:
but seeing ye put it from you,
and JUDGE YOURSELVES UNWORTHY OF EVERLASTING LIFE,
lo, we turn to the Gentiles. For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth. And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region. But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts.
But THEY SHOOK OFF THE DUST OF THEIR FEET AGAINST THEM,
and came unto Iconium. And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.
Titus 3:10-11 A man that is an heretick
after the FIRST and SECOND admonition
Knowing that he that is such is SUBVERTED, and SINNETH,
being CONDEMNED of himself.
ANSWER: At least two times, although some Christians witness to people and pray for many souls, for years.
NOTE: Man thinks that if he does not study God’s Word that God will not hold him accountable. This is typical of the Roman Catholics who deposit their personal accountability in the hands of their Church or their priest. God is going to hold you personally accountable for every word in His Holy Word.
NOTE: One asked, «Where do the heathens and pagans go?» Another answered; «They go to Sears, Mc Donalds, golfing, fishing, and their places of employment. In fact, you see them almost everywhere.»
I Corinthians 8:5-6 For though there be that ARE CALLED GODS, whether in heaven or in earth, (as THERE BE GODS MANY, and LORDS MANY,) But to us there is but ONE GOD, THE FATHER, of whom are all things, and we in him; and ONE LORD JESUS CHRIST by whom are all things, and we by him.
