QUESTION: What born again Christian or groups of Christians will be excused from the Judgement Seat of Christ?

Luke 12:2-3 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

NOTE: What we have said and what we have done for Christ will one day be manifested to the world. We need not be a pretender, for

Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

NOTE: We are not saved by our works but are created in Christ Jesus unto good works.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

NOTE: We should walk in our good works; those works that Honor and Glorify Jesus Christ.

II Corinthians 9:6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly, and he which soeth bountifully shall reap also bountifully…

Matthew 6:10-21 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Revelation 22:11-13 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly;

to give every man according as his work shall be.

I Corinthians 3:11-15 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any build upon this foundation gold, silver precious stones, wood, hay stubble; Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Malachi 3:17-18 And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

NOTE: At the beginning of this judgment there will be a large fire started through which all your works will pass. This fire will consume all that you have accomplished in your entire lifetime with the exception of what you did for the Glory of Christ. This will not only be a consuming fire but a refining fire. Your works for Christ will come as gold, silver and precious stones. Notice that the man doesn’t burn; his works burn. The works will be tried to see WHAT SORT IT IS. The Lord is interested in QUALITY, what sort it is. What is the real motive for serving Christ.

II Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

Romans 14:10-12 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For as it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

Hebrews 9:27 It is appointed unto man once to die but after this the judgment.

James 1:1-6 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten. Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days. Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth. Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter. Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you.

ANSWER: No Christian will escape the Judgment seat of Christ. Regardless of who a person is or what position he holds in this life, we will all die (or be raptured) and stand before God and be judged. This judgment will take place immediately after the rapture of the Church, just after we get our new bodies.

A saved person will face Christ at the Judgment Seat Of Christ.
