Psalms 119:160 Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.

II Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Luke 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

Deuteronomy 8:3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that MAN DOTH NOT LIVE BY BREAD ONLY, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.

Psalms 12:6-7 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt KEEP THEM, O Lord, THOU SHALT PRESERVE THEM from this generation for ever.

Acts 24-14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:

Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, ONE JOT OR ONE TITTLE SHALL IN NO WISE PASS FROM THE LAW, TILL ALL BE FULFILLED.

II Peter 1:21 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is QUICK AND POWERFUL, AND SHARPER THAN ANY TOWEDGED SWORD, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

II Timothy 4:2-5 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears: And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

Titus 2:15 These things SPEAK, and EXHORT, and REBUKE WITH ALL AUTHORITY, Let no man despise thee.

I Timothy 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

John 8:31-32 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know THE TRUTH and THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE.

John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: THY WORD IS TRUTH.

Galatians 4:30a NEVERTHELESS WHAT SAITH THE SCRIPTURE? …

II Corinthians 1:18-20 But as God IS TRUE, our word toward you WAS NOT yea and nay. For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was NOT yea and nay, but IN HIM was YEA. For all the promises of God IN HIM are YEA, and in Him AMEN, unto the GLORY OF GOD by us.

Mark 8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

Isaiah 8:20 Â To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Isaiah 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

Romans 3:4 … yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; …

THE UNCHANGING WORD

Feelings come and feelings go,
And feelings are deceiving;
My warrant is the Word of God—
Naught else is worth believing.

Though all my heart should feel condemned
For want of some sweet token,
There is One greater than my heart
Whose Word cannot be broken.

I’ll trust in God’s unchanging Word
Till soul and body sever,
For, though all things shall pass away,
HIS WORD SHALL STAND FOREVER!

Martin Luther

The following is copied from the Australian Beacon, March 1987:

There is no room for broadmindedness in the chemical laboratory. Water is
composed of two parts, hydrogen and one part oxygen. The slightest
deviation from the formula is forbidden.

There is no room for broadmindedness in music. The skilled director will
not permit his first violin to play even so much as one-half note off the
written note, chord, and key.

There is no room for broadmindedness in the mathematics classroom. Neither
geometry, calculus, nor trigonometry allows any variation from exact
accuracy, even for old time’s sake. The solution of the problem is either
right or it is wrong (no tolerance there).

There is no room for broadmindedness on the athletic field. The game is to
be played according to the rules with no favors shown for ‘charity’s sake.’

There is no room for broadmindedness in the garage. The mechanic there says
the piston rings must fit the cylinder walls within one-thousandth part of
an inch. Even between friends there cannot be any variation if ‘the motor
is to run smoothly.’

How then shall we expect that broadmindedness shall rule in the realm of
Christianity and morals?

He that forsakes the truth of God, forsakes the God of truth.

God’s Pure and Sure Word

Here is a brief look at why the Authorized King James Bible is the PURE and SURE WORD of GOD in English. The Bible says that,

PURE:

Proverbs 30:5 EVERY WORD of God is PURE:

Psalms 12:6 The WORDS of the LORD are PURE WORDS: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

Psalms 119:140 Thy WORD is VERY PURE: therefore thy servant loveth it.

and that,

Luke 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by EVERY WORD of God.

SURE:

God’s word is magnified even above His name!

Psalms 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast MAGNIFIED thy WORD *above* all thy name.

And it is more sure than God’s actual voice!

II Peter 1:18-20 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. We have also a MORE SURE WORD of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the SCRIPTURE is of any private interpretation.

While we’re talking about the word of prophecy, let’s look at God’s requirements for His prophets:

Deuteronomy 18:20-22 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

One error is fatal! 99% is not enough, God’s
prophecy is 100% Does your Bible meet these rigid qualifications?

One who believes that the King James Bible, the Authorized Version, is unreliable and full of errors CANNOT answer these questions:

1. If the KJB is not inerrant, which Bible is
inerrant?

2. If Hebrew and Greek manuscripts are
inerrant, which manuscripts of the
hundreds in existence are inerrant?

3. If you know that the KJB has errors in it,
then why do you not correct the errors
and give us a perfect, inerrant Bible?

4. Why do you wave a KJB and say,
“I believe the Bible is the word
of God!” Isn’t that hypocrisy?

5. Is the word of God within the cover of
one book?

6. If the word of God is within the cover of
one book, which book is it?

7. If only the “originals” were inspired
and without error, what was the purpose
in God giving a book without error and
then not preserve it?

8. If only a portion of the KJB is GodÂ’s word,
then which portion?

9. When you read these commands:

“Preach the word…” 2 Tim. 4:2
“Study…rightly dividing the word
of truth.” 2 Tim. 2:15
“Let the word of Christ dwell
in you.” Col. 3:16
“…take…the sword of the Spirit,
which is the word of God…”
Eph. 6:17

Where is the word of God? How do you
obey these commands? How do you
preach something you havenÂ’t got? How
do you study “the word” if you can’t
put your hands on a copy of it?

10. What is your authority?

11. How do you know that you are saved?
(Please do not say, “Because the Bible
says so…” If you cannot produce a
Bible you know to be inerrant.)

12. If you can correct a book that you say is
an authoritative Bible are you then an
even higher authority?

13. If you can determine which words are
GodÂ’s words by using rules that you or
other men have invented and thereby
correct the KJB are you playing God?

14. Where are these “words” right
now.

“The words of the LORD are
pure words: as silver tried in
a furnace of earth, purified
seven times. Thou shalt keep
them, O LORD, thou shalt
preserve them from this
generation for ever.”

— Psalm 12:6-7

PRESERVED FOREVER:

God also promised to preserve His word forever. If not the King James, which Bible meets the above criteria?

Psalms 12:6-7 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

Isaiah 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

Since God promised to preserve His word forever, there are only three possibilities:

He did.
He LIED.
He FAILED.

I select #1, that He did in the Authorized King James Bible. There is no other absolute text. Not even in the Greek, there are dozens of Greek texts. There are several different Textus Receptus texts, and they do not all agree totally.

If you select #1, can you tell me what and where God’s word is? Otherwise, which other option did you select? It gets pretty simple when you get to the basics.

Every other English version can be proven false, most with only a few verses.

Mark 1:2 As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

Almost every other English version credits Isaiah with the quotes, when one of them was from Malachi. That is an outright error in the other versions. Malachi and Isaiah could sue all the modern versions for misrepresentation!

Acts 8:37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

This important verse telling how the Ethiopian eunuch got saved is left out of most of the modern versions.

Acts 25:6 And when he had tarried among them more than ten days, he went down unto Caesarea; and the next day sitting on the judgment seat commanded Paul to be brought.

Most other versions say «eight or ten days», which is ten days or LESS — the very OPPOSITE of the KJV! If a version can’t count to ten, it’s not worth trusting my soul to!

The other versions change verses dealing with important things like salvation, the deity of Christ, the scriptures, the virgin birth, and others. They are not just simple updates of the English.

Neither are the other versions easier to read. The Flesch-Kincaide Research Company ran a battery of 26 tests among the common versions and the King James was EASIEST in 23 of the 26 criteria. It is written at less that 6th grade level. Two other research groups performed tests which vindicated these results. Thee and thou are not really that hard, and they distinguish between singular and plural, something contemporary English does not do with «you». The big words like who-so-ever are not difficult either.

Some of the concepts are difficult, but to word them easier changes what is said and makes it wrong.

I simply believe that God kept His word, like he said he would.
