Witnessing To A Mormon
NOTE: When the Mormon missionaries knock on your door, do not invite them in. Ask them if Joseph Smith «saw» God the Father. If they tell the truth, they will answer, «Yes.» Show them: John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
I John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
And then show them the following:
Exodus 33:17-23 And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name. And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy. And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.
NOTE: If God would not let the greatest prophet of the Old Testament see His face, He certainly would not let a 14 year old boy see it!
You can also tell them that you believe the Book of Mormon to be the inspired, infallible, word of God insofar as it has been correctly plagiarized from the AV 1611.
Witnessing To A Jehovah’s Witness
NOTE: When IÂ’m dealing with a Jehovah’s Witness, I ask the question, “Do you believes that Jesus Christ is the Saviour of the world?” The answer will always be, “Yes I do.” I then ask, “If you believe that Jesus Christ is the Saviour of the world, “Have you asked Him to save you?” I will then get a “blank stare.” I then repeat the same question, “Have you asked Him to save you?” They repeat the “same blank stare.” Then I ask, “Why havenÂ’t you asked Him to save you?” “If you believe that He is the Saviour of the world; I would think that the only logical action on your part would be for you to ask Him to save you.” I then get something like, “Well, we believe….. “ where I cut them off and quote a few verses.
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Matthew 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
I will point my finger in the face of the JW and say, “You donÂ’t know Him, do you?” I will not let up, “You donÂ’t know Him and He doesn‘t know you.” «Jesus Christ will one day point an accusing finger in your face and say the words, Depart from me, ye that work iniquity, FOR I NEVER KNEW YOU.»
I have had some JWs stand there and give the coldest look a man could ever give and I have had some with tears in their eyes. This will work on many people, not just the JWs.
